Network Administrator Job Locations US-OH-WPAFB ID Category Information Technology Type Regular Full-Time Overview Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is seeking a Network Administrator who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Air Force Institute of Technology School of Engineering and Management (AFIT/EN) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. AFIT's Graduate School of Engineering and Management focuses on high-quality graduate education and research. EN works on the leading edges of the technological disciplines that keep the Air Force dominance in defending the nation. The school serves the Air Force as its graduate institution of choice for engineering, applied sciences, and selected areas of management. The appeal for the school's distinct educational opportunities is widespread and attracts high quality students from the other United States (US) armed services, Government agencies both inside and outside the Department of Defense (DoD), coalition countries, and US citizens (civilians) from across the country. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Manage the day-to-day IT operations of the Center's teaching and research laboratories. Provide classroom IT laboratory support for cyber-attack and exploitation courses. Develops laboratory exercises for cyber professional continuing education curricula. Provide network solutions as well as support of all hardware/software needs and configurations requested by students, faculty, and staff within the Center, as well as equipment custodian duties. Responsible to maintain and operate the Video Teleconference (VTC) systems. Configure VMware Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS) to balance the load from tens to hundreds of virtual machines across all of the hosts on the cluster. Education, Requirements and Qualifications Clearance: TS/SCI Master's degree in Computer Science, or related field with Security + or Network + or Bachelor's degree with Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification Ten years of DoD and private sector experience in information security, computer networking, and system administration Poficiency in system administration and computer networking to include administering LANs, troubleshooting systems, and hardware/software deployment Experienced in configuring and maintaining a VMware software and vCenter server cluster Proficiency in system security administration for Microsoft Windows (all versions), Mac OS X, Linux/Unix, BSD Unix operating systems, Apple iOS, and Android OS Proficiency in network design and configuration: Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points, NAM and ASASM Intrusion detection/prevention Domain controllers, DHCP, and DNS servers Network attached storage devices/File servers Application/license servers NTP servers Proficiency in VMware vCenter server cluster: Configure and maintain a VMware vCenter Server cluster of at least 14 physical hosts Configure Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP) for load balancing network traffic to each host of the cluster Configure permissions and roles for users on the cluster based on user needs and which virtual machines the user needs to access Configure Virtual Storage Area Network (VSAN) for use as a storage data store on the cluster Configure at least three separate external storage servers as internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI) targets to be used as data stores for the cluster Proficiency in hardware and software configuration and support: Troubleshoot and repair hardware problems on different form factors including workstations, desktops, laptops, rack mount servers, and tablets/mobile devices Installation and configuration of Operating Systems (OS) in
