Department Profile The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team. Our teams will be conducting Interview Days, focused on our Associate and Director (AVP equivalent) roles. Our Firm and the Finance Division offer Employee Networking Groups to help connect employees and create inclusion across the Firm You Will · Drive various details of the Basel III Endgame program implementation to ensure timely compliance of proposed revisions · Ensure that the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) impact is optimized and understood across all collaborators · Partner with Technology to renovate data and infrastructure to meet future regulatory rules and reporting requirements under Basel III Endgame · Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with functional lines and other internal counterparts · Present capital results and analysis to senior management, business heads, and regulators · Work and collaborate with a global team in an analytical environment · Add value and be productive in our high energy setting · Grow in your career and develop new technical and interpersonal skills You Have · 3-7 years of accounting, reporting and/or audit experience, within financial services industry a plus · Strong interpersonal and communications skills (both oral and written) · Evidence of working closely with other Finance functions and an ability to develop good working relationships both locally and in other locations · Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail · Ability to lead and run projects and influence others to achieve desired goals and results · Familiarity with Basel, CCAR / DFAST, and/or relevant stress test topics a plus What you can expect from Morgan Stanley: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 85 years. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000 and $135,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
