Job Details Job Location Community and Family Programs - Portland, OR Position Type Full Time Salary Range $21.15 - $22.04 Hourly Job Shift Day Description The Data Specialist 1 is responsible for coordinating and performing data entry and maintaining record keeping. This is a full-time, Limited Duration position that reports to the Data Manager. This Limited Duration position ends June 30, 2024. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provides timely, accurate data entry for all agency programs for the purpose of accurate tracking and evaluation via multiple client databases Prepares and sorts source documents as well as identifies and interprets data to be entered Performs file transfer processes as needed based on project requirements Maintains all data documents for Local, State, Federal, and other funders' requirements Performs data collection and entry functions using existing protocols Keeps track of received data, source documents and work completed Resolves data questions, inconsistencies and issues related to missing data Record confidential information using a variety of data entry software Assists staff with data entry questions, compiles and analyzes data Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer Maintain client records and files Utilize document archival processes Monitor department paper flow The Data Specialist 1 is responsible for coordinating and performing data entry and maintaining record keeping. This is a full-time, Limited Duration position that reports to the Data Manager. This Limited Duration position ends June 30, 2024. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent At least three (3) years of data collection/entry experience At least 3 years of record maintenance experience Must have intermediate knowledge of computer systems and software technologies Must have intermediate working knowledge of MS Office Ability to analyze statistical data Must be highly organized and self-motivated with effective time management skills Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information Must be detail oriented with a high data accuracy rate Ability to handle multiple tasks with varying deadlines Must be a team player Must have a professional attitude and work style Must have current and valid state driver's license, in good standing with no insurability restrictions and must be insurable under SEI's auto insurance policy.
