The Georgia-Pacific Halsey Mill is looking to add an Journeyman Instrumentation Technician to the maintenance department. Work Schedule is M-F from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay Rate is $47.88/hour Our Team Georgia-Pacific Papermill in Halsey, OR facility is a Papermill that strives to incorporate our Mill Vision, which is to: Continuously transform and develop disciplined operations to safely and reliably deliver valued products as the preferred partner for our customers, Georgia-Pacific, and Halsey team. We are constantly looking and pursuing excellence, to ensure present and future employee safety, fulfillment, and growth What You Will Do Contribute to creating a safe working environment by identifying hazards and proactively mitigating them Perform preventative maintenance on control system components, instrumentation, and electrical systems Repair and troubleshoot instrumentation devices; and systems while ensuring systems are compliant and maintain documentation on repairs Install new instrumentation equipment throughout the facility Support other maintenance activities as well as additional duties assigned Work afterhours and call-ins when needed Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High School Diploma or GED Oregon Electrical License of "Limited Energy Technician, Class B", or higher required. 5 years or more experience in reliability or maintenance Familiar with Process Controls system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting which might include DCS systems, control valves, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, temperature, etc. Experience installing, repairing, and testing the accuracy of flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other indicating equipment Experience diagnosing mechanical and electronic systems using scanning and diagnostic tools, multi-meters, and computers What Will Put You Ahead Oregon Plant Journeyman Electrical License or Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME). Associate or Technical degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field 7 years' experience in Industrial Motor Controls (PLC, motor controls, control valves, electrical distribution, industrial instrumentation for flow, pressure, and temperature) Experience in the pulp and paper industry Experience with Chemical Process Safety At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
