Upload Veterans diagnostic results to their case ensuring the information such as DOB, name, and date of service match. Review prior diagnostics submitted by Veteran or VA, and facilities to see if it can be used in place of for what Veteran has been scheduled. *As a federal contractor, Maximus is subject to Executive Order 14042 and the Safe Workforce Task Force's COVID-19 Workplace Safety Guidance for Federal Contractors and Subcontractors. After successfully completing training, this position may have the opportunity to work temporarily remote due to Covid-19, however, you must be able and willing to work on site in our Houston, TX locationas business needs change. Home Office Requirements: Remote work optional only after successful completion of onsite training. Desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks and tablets are not compatible and cannot be used.) Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection Private work area and adequate power source Job Summary Upload Veterans diagnostic results to their case ensuring the information such as DOB, name, and date of service match. Review prior diagnostics submitted by Veteran or VA, and facilities to see if it can be used in place of for what Veteran has been scheduled. Education and Experience Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Review report from top to bottom. Make sure the name, DOB, Test and facility match (always checking to make sure no other Veteran is attached to the PDF); - Mark Test status seen as needed. Make sure diagnostic test date matches unless it is a prior results; - Check for DX mileage on VBA cases (VHA does not have mileage); - Double check all CPT codes and match the CPT codes on reports. If they do not match make corrections; - Confirm what was ordered is uploaded. Comment on what was not ordered; - Double check and confirm that no other Veteran's information was uploaded to the case; - Assist others when they need a second review; Additional Duties and Responsibilities: - Answer questions pertaining to diagnostic results or calling on late diagnostic issues; - Training new employees; - Ensure uploads are low and do not overflow; - Reviewing comments and cases comments; - Review diagnostic mail from facilities and confirm we have all diagnostics for Billing to pay out; - Review prior reports from Veterans and VBMS; - Email diagnostic report tracking specialist when needing a late diagnostic; - Other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Knowledge of Medical terminology and HIPAA Regulations; - Knowledge of CPT codes; - High levels of organization, time management, job prioritization, multi- tasking and interpersonal skills necessary to provide effective work atmosphere and to develop as well as to maintain a productive working relationship with staff members, veterans, physicians and VA; - Effective and concise communication skills necessary to provide information in a courteous and comprehensive fashion (oral and written) with the goal of positive resolution(s); - Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point; - Advanced multi- tasking skills; - Knowledge of company policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED required; - Some College preferred.
