Job Function Reporting into the Business Manager, the Technical Sales Manager will work remotely and will be responsible for the following responsibilities. Responsibilities Evaluate and answer technical customer questions for glass and ceramic coating products, including automotive glass, architectural glass, home appliance glass, container glass, and ceramic dinnerware. Support Tech Service and R&D teams in developing customer-specific adaptations. Organize and evaluate product trials on-site at customer locations. Prepare detailed technical reports on product performance and trial outcomes. Accompany new product introductions during the ramp-up phase. Provide customer support for process optimizations and production improvements. Prepare customized product presentations and marketing information for specific customers. Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through networking, market research, and customer referrals. Support QC and Tech Service teams in addressing quality claims, serving as the face to the customer. Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Conduct sales forecasting to meet sales and gross profit (GP) targets. Achieve specific sales and GP targets through effective sales strategies Perform market share analysis and identify growth project opportunities. Maintain key account responsibility, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty Required Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the glass and ceramics industry. Strong technical background in inorganic or organic colors/coatings. Strong sales skills with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with and support colleagues, analyze and solve problems, control resources, and implement programs. Knowledge of color and appearance science. Ability to multi-task, work independently and employ effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
