Job Description Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary: We are currently hiring for a Senior Process Engineer for our new factory in Pataskala, Ohio. This senior production technical engineer plans and designs methods to improve production processes. Other main responsibilities include reviewing existing processes and develops solutions to increase productivity or reduce costs. Ensures compliance with approved production methods and quality standards. Responsibilities: Analyze process-related exceptions and technical issues that arise during production, responsible for timely handling and resolution of technical issues to ensure normal operation of production work. Participate in and coordinate activities related to process, materials, equipment, and new product trials on the production line, including data collection, organization, and reporting. Control and improve workshop process indicators such as string repair rate, stacking repair rate, first-pass yield, and hidden crack rate. Lead and establish project work, promote continuous improvement, and reduce costs while increasing efficiency. Coordinate the implementation of work among departments within the workshop, handle workshop-related anomalies, and provide technical support to customers. Lead the analysis of non-conforming products, propose reasonable solutions, and provide timely feedback to relevant departments. Also, supervise the implementation of the solutions in subsequent production. Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Strong Knowledge of production safety required. Knowledge of lean production and production quality. Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
