We specialize in developing cutting-edge software products that optimize fleet management, navigation, and operational efficiency for maritime businesses.TowWorks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Manager. As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific projects within our software development portfolio; ensuring effective communication internally and externally regarding the status of those projects. This role requires a strong understanding of both project management methodologies and the unique challenges and requirements of maritime software development. This position is ideal for someone with a few years of working experience in a task-oriented role, such as an executive assistant or project coordinator. While maritime expertise is desirable, it is not required. The critical attribute we seek in the ideal candidate is a proactive and driven personality committed to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all projects are efficiently tracked and resolved. This position also entails a range of administrative responsibilities related to office coordination. This role requires you to work in an office five days a week. A remote option is not available. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and customers aligned. Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of projects. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution. Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are achieved on time. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. Communication and Reporting: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and customers in a timely and clear manner. Generate regular status reports and updates for management. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for enhancing communication processes and customer support workflows. Suggest and implement improvements to streamline operations and ensure efficient management. Qualifications: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or 2-3 years of related work experience. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the software development industry or related field. Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams & clients. Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated and driven to excel in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, follow up on tasks, and ensure that all projects are appropriately tracked and resolved. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess customer issues, identify appropriate solutions, and escalate as needed. Quick thinking and adaptability to handle unforeseen challenges. Technology Proficiency: Working with cloud-based software systems and ticketing platforms is comfortable-proficient in using productivity tools such as email clients, spreadsheets, and document management systems. Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment. A willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the group.
