Position: Valet Site Lead Location: UT Medical Center Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm Full Time - $13.00 base plus tips daily Valet Site Lead Position Summary The Site Lead is a front-line position responsible for certain organizational duties to support the operations in an assigned location. In the absence of the Operations Manager, the Site Lead ensures that all elements of the operation and customer service meet Premier standards. Valet Site Lead Duties and Responsibilities Plan and organize the work of hourly team members throughout the assigned shift(s), ensuring team members are deployed appropriately and tasks are completed in accordance with organizational requirements and Premier standards Ensure Premier's standards of Customer Service are met Greet customers and clients in a courteous manner Communicate with customers and staff who have general inquiries about parking, parking locations, and guest services Enter required site-specific data correctly and timely Use and maintain equipment properly, including keeping equipment clean and operational Work independently and as part of the team Observe safety precautions at all times Under the direction and guidance of the Operations Manager, provide training to newly hired employees Communicate with Operations Manager after each shift to provide shift update Perform specific operational responsibilities as required based on the needs of the assigned location Perform other non-managerial duties as assigned Essential Functions To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodations. Incumbent must be able to Stand for up to six (6) consecutive hours Work outdoors in all weather conditions Communicate effectively in spoken English with team members and customers If working in a valet location, incumbent must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles of all types and sizes. If working in a shuttle location, incumbent must be able to drive all shuttle vehicles used at the location. Employee must be able to complete data entry of site-specific information correctly and timely. Position Qualifications Skills and Abilities Strong interpersonal skills; frequently communicate with team members and customers; must be able to exchange accurate information Reliability and responsibility Able to detect safety concerns and adjust accordingly Must maintain confidentiality of all work-related information Ability to work in a diverse environment and be sensitive to issues of diversity and inclusion Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required Certificates and Licenses If working in a valet or shuttle operation, a clean driving record and current driver license must be maintained Other Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends Expected to constantly work in all outdoor weather conditions Required to wear a uniform and follow appropriate grooming standards Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach and handle keys and may be frequently required to sit. The employee is regularly required to walk swiftly and occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
