Job Description Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide imaging equipment service, both emergency and preventive, to the X-ray, MR, CT, Nuc Med, Ultrasound, Mammography and other imaging equipment located at the OhioHealth facilities. This opening is based out of the Riverside Methodist location. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree (Required) Associate's Degree or Military Training Field of Study: Electronic Engineering Technology Years of experience: 3 SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE (A. A. /A. S) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Electronics Engineering Technology; or six months to one-year related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience. Electronics school through the Military is acceptable. Three years' Experience with an Original Equipment Manufacturer in the X-ray/Imaging business. Must be fluent in the use of personal computers. some knowledge of computer networks would enhance the effectiveness of the individual. Minimum three years in an electronics repair related job. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 30% Must possess the skills necessary to evaluate a problem with a piece of imaging equipment and make the decision to service the unit themselves or call the appropriate service vendor to complete the repair. 30% Must have the required knowledge in radiology equipment testing, calibration, and repair to effectively service our customer's needs. 20% Must process effective written and verbal, customer service skills, communication skills. 10% Must be able to maintain a poised, professional, articulate image with both the internal and external customers. 10% Must have a demonstrated knowledge of Health & Human Services and Department Radiation Health, State of Ohio Department of Health and Nuclear Regulatory Commission regulations regarding radiological services, applicable codes, and standards.
