Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Plant Manager to lead our Human Resources department within a large manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will stay abreast of the latest trends, best practices, and ethical standards in the HR field. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating HR functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and employee needs. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Act as a key consultant and advisor to management on HR issues, identifying problem areas, proposing solutions, and executing those solutions effectively and timely. Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for new employees and present information to management at all levels. Policy Compliance: Ensure that management applies all policies and regulations consistently by performing periodic audits of employee-related actions. Communication: Assist management in conveying expected goals and objectives to employees, involving them in decision-making processes that positively impact their roles. Multitasking: Manage a variety of tasks daily, from addressing personal complaints to developing effective recruiting strategies. Recruitment & Retention: Oversee the recruitment process for both internal and external job postings, provide onboarding and orientations, and devise retention strategies. Issue Management: Navigate complex HR issues with discretion and seek advice from legal or subject matter experts as necessary. Performance Management: Train managers to coach and discipline employees effectively, ensuring ongoing appraisal of employee performance. Policy Development: Create, revise, and develop HR policies and procedures, ensuring clear communication and documentation. Motivation & Engagement: Foster a motivated workforce by effectively motivating managers, who in turn motivate their teams. Courageous Leadership: Stand firm in convictions regarding what is best for the organization, even in the face of opposition. Special Projects: Perform additional duties or participate in special projects as assigned by the Regional HR Manager. Qualifications: Bachelorí¢â‚¬â„¢s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred. 5 to 7 years of experience in Human Resources Management, specifically in a manufacturing environment. Ability to objectively coach employees and management through complex and emotional issues. Proven judgment in making recommendations to effectively resolve problems in alignment with standards, practices, and regulations. Education: Bachelors Degree
