Preferred candidates should possess a motivated demeanor and a willingness to learn.WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITION: The desire to be an integral part of a growing maintenance team.The ability to provide outstanding customer service.Strong organizational and time management skills, particularly when working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure.The ability to work both independently and within a team.Strong, effective written and oral communication skills.WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT: Responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining engines, primarily on heavy equipment throughout the Blue Mountain Resort property.Runs diagnostic tests on heavy equipment in need of repair; identifies key issues and comes up with effective solutions.Replaces out-of-order engines, transmissions, steering mechanisms, braking systems, and various other components of vehicles and equipment in need of repair.Verifies company vehicles are running safely and efficiently.Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as directed.Maintains cleanliness and safety of workspaces.Acknowledges and complies with all safety standards when operating equipment and tools.Attends staff meetings as required.WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU: We offer the opportunity to join a growing company with over 40 years in the hospitality industry and be a part of setting a new standard of excellence in guest satisfaction.
