Job Title: Production Manager Location: Greenwood, IN Job Type : Full Time, Onsite Summary: The Production Manager is a part of management team. The Production Manager directly supervises the assigned team to help support the daily production goals. The Production Manager works with available resources to complete assigned tasks and objectives that improve production efficiencies, safety, and quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Review production, quality control and maintenance to determine causes of nonconformity with product specification and recommend solutions. Root Cause Analysis. Assist with development and implementation of production improvements. Meet with assigned team daily to discuss safety, daily goals, and required logistics to support production goals. Document and conduct proper investigations on Safety and Disciplinary action. Participate in hiring. Develops and administers trainings to managers, supervisors, foreman and laborers. Provide schedule and material take-offs for future projects. Coordinate deliveries of stock materials to support production volumes. Initiates weekly safety and quality meetings. Identify areas and develops solutions to cut cost in overtime hours, labor, overhead and materials. Be a driver of continuous process improvement in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Efficiency. Ensure that all aspects of quality are in accordance with PCI standards and the Quality Standards Manual. Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity on all production lines. Assist with development and implementation of production improvements. Work with Senior Management, Scheduling, Sales, and Project Management to ensure that project schedules are met. Be a hands-on manager with daily presence in the production areas. Serves as a role model for employees regarding safety, quality of work, attendance, timeliness, loyalty, mutual respect, and support for organizational teamwork and continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications: B.S.E. in Industrial Engineering or minimum 10 years of proven leadership experience in the industry. ACI Level 1, PCI Level 1 and 2 training and Certification Required. PCI Level 3 a plus. Ability to create and manage operational budgets. Understanding of general manufacturing and engineering principles. Proficient in EXCEL, Microsoft, General knowledge in IT.
