About the Role: Displays2go is seeking an experienced and visionary Category Merchant to take ownership of assigned product categories and optimize their performance. As a Category Merchant, you will develop and execute strategic merchandising plans that align with company goals while balancing innovative approaches with practical solutions. You'll play a key role in delivering on performance-level KPIs at the corporate, class, and product levels, helping to grow Displays2go's market share, product assortment, and brand identity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Category Strategy: - Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability. - Lead go-to-market plans for new products and manage continuous improvement and end-of-life processes for legacy products. 2. Product Selection: - Select, develop, and manage product assortments, ensuring competitive pricing, high quality, and compliance. - Accurately and efficiently manage project scopes to meet product launch objectives. 3. Partnerships: - Build strong, collaborative relationships with sourcing, marketing, and content teams to achieve go-to-market objectives. - Support cross-functional business initiatives for Displays2go and the broader TAKKT business ecosystem. 4. Market & Sales Analysis: - Analyze sales figures, customer feedback, and industry reports to identify performance trends and product opportunities. - Develop value propositions that position Displays2go as a leader in the market. 5. Promotions & Pricing : - Plan and develop promotional activities, including pricing strategies, to drive performance. Additional Responsibilities: - Product Development: Lead product vision and prioritize projects that drive business impact. - B usiness Performance: Track and analyze product category performance data and collaborate with business partners to present regular performance reports. - Customer Engagement: Work closely with marketing and customer success teams to align product assortments with customer needs. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, marketing, or a related field. - Proven experience in merchandising strategies; B2B and vendor-level experience a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. - Excellent project management skills and a track record of delivering successful products. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business conditions.
