We are experiencing explosive growth and looking to add hard working, motivated and skilled individuals to our highly dedicated teams within our large and growing geographic footprint. As a qualified Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will use your mechanic knowledge and hands-on expertise to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, skids steers, and various other equipment, both in a garage environment and at various job sites in the surrounding region. That means that you will be expected to: Replace and repair broken equipment; Perform PM on equipment; Trouble shoot mechanical equipment and systems such as motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components; Follow all Company safety policies and procedures; Perform field services and repairs on various equipment; Coordinate with Equipment Manager on needed parts & supplies necessary to repair and rebuild items; Use and operate all hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner; View safety as paramount and pro-actively identify safety hazards; Complete accurate required maintenance documents and records; Participate in Equipment Manager meetings as needed; Other duties as assigned. In order to join our team, here's what we will need from you: Must have own hand tools up to 1 5/8 or be willing to invest in tools as needed; Must have good driving record; Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card; Ability to pass ATF screenings; Ability to perform all essential functions of the position; Physical ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs., 30 - 40% of the time, with stooping and bending 30 - 40% of the time Physical ability to work outside on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather environments. About You This is a mid- level mechanic position, and as such you are most likely a high school or technical school graduate that is preferably ASE certified in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance. You will also bring at least 3-5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience to go along with it. You are a self-starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision. You possess core skills, such as mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, and PLC skills. You may also be recently separated from Military service and looking for an opportunity that will value your self-discipline and standards for safety and excellence.
