Summary The Assistant Manager, TP Accounting is responsible for maintaining accurate accounting of Revenue and Cost of the Transportation Business. This position must acquire understanding of TP Business and work collaboratively with Operations Team. Responsibilities Revenue Recognition Procedures ASC606 Assist with establishing Revenue Recognition Procedures Review contracts to determine Performance Obligations and how Revenue is Earned Document rationale for revenue recognition application, related to Transportation or Logistics contracts Oversee Sr. Analysts during Progress Basis Revenue application. Validate accrual and explain trends Month End Closing & Profitability Analysis Overseeing the Transportation business segments for Tesla, Lucid, GCI, Exports and FSC accounts Responsible for guiding the completion of Revenue and Cost Accruals Responsible for meeting closing deadline and explaining Monthly Results Oversee Claims System Enhancement Project Collaborate with Operations Claims Team and assist with Claims System Enhancement Assist junior Analyst with Claims AR&AP Reconciliation Project Review and Audit Claims Invoices, specifically validate ITMS Cost Codes of Claims ServicesSAP 2nd Generation System Transition, work closely with Claims Team to make sure all ITMS Codes are mapping to thecorrect GL Accounts, and Claims Profitability is reported accurately Oversee Claims System Enhancement Project Collaborate with Operations Claims Team and assist with Claims System Enhancement Assist junior Analyst with Claims AR&AP Reconciliation Project Review and Audit Claims Invoices, specifically validate ITMS Cost Codes of Claims Service SAP 2nd Generation System Transition, work closely with Claims Team to make sure all ITMS Codes are mapping to thecorrect GL Accounts, and Claims Profitability is reported accurate Business Proposal or Red Folder Tracking Track Red Folders for TP Team Review all completed red folders by Team members and present completed review to Manager Track Incremental Costs as estimated in Red Folder compare vs. Actual results Audit - CPA, Customer, or GKR Investigate and provide the transactions requested by auditors Justify company billing completion based on the term to defend the revenue and profit loss from the change Based on guidance from Local CPA and GKR, Financial Statements must be revisited and updated Other Duties As Assigned Compensation Range $86,000- $96,000 per year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection) Benefits of Working at Hyundai GLOVIS America Inc.
