Taxable Entity ALUTIIQ INFORMATION MANAGEMENT LLC Job Title IT Specialist Location CA San Diego NIWC Pacific - San Diego, CA 92106 US (Primary) Category IT and Computer Related Job Type Full-time Typical Pay/Range $31.25 to $40.86 Hourly Education Professional or Trade Certification Travel Up to 25% Security Clearance Required Secret POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Alutiiq Information Management, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC is looking for an IT Specialist to support project IT and technical functions within the Reverse Engineering, Science and Technology for Obsolescence, Repair and Evaluation (RESTORE) Laboratory. This effort includes managing systems that will provide for 3D Print Exchange and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities using networked systems worldwide that will ultimately provide for a 3-D Printing capability to both U.S. Navy CONUS and OCONUS ships/sites. Troubleshoot daily IT desktop client issues. Conducted end-user training and provided technical support on hardware, software, and network issues. Complete installation, configuration and patching of hardware and software for users. Test performance, functionality and security of network systems, individual workstations, and peripheral devices. Support management and set up of 3-D Printing Systems configurations for RESTORE Lab tests, system demonstrations, briefings, and day-to-day operations. Ensure systems and Demonstration spaces are Presentation ready. Troubleshoot systems as needed for operations. Work with Process Improvement lead on facility requirements submission for space modifications, hanging of posters, electrical, paint, cabling. Assist with space reallocation or space modifications as requested by project leads and approved by RESTORE PI lead/IPT lead. Manage daily shop operations to support laboratory events. Organize the shop space to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Assist project teams with equipment inventory and proper storage locations for delivered items. Pay rate: $31.25 to $40.86 hourly REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Graduate of related technical school with appropriate work experience in a technical field, emphasis on Information Technology and/or demonstrated technical work experience. Security + certification required. U.S. Citizenship status required. Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain or reestablish this level of clearance. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with DoD civilians and U.S. Navy Senior officers. Although not required, prior military experience is highly desired. Salary will be commensurate with experience and competitive with industry standards. This work is currently on a long term and stable Single Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the U.S. Navy.
