Salary range of $45K-$50K first year.Main Responsibilities:Responsible for working as a facility "Key Holder" shutting down all equipment at the close of shift, locking down the facility, and setting the security system each night.Supervise team members who operate automatic/manual equipment, forklifts or perform operations to dispense, manufacture, fill, and package productsSupervise daily departmental operations in the plant or warehouse, meeting the quantity requirements according to the production or shipping scheduleEnsure products are manufactured, packaged and/or shipped according to the specifications on batch tickets or pick tickets/bills of lading (shipment list)Oversee the various stages of production or shipping to determine control over variablesTroubleshoot and solve production or shipping problems with equipment or processesProvide on-the-job training to new and existing team members, following company SOPs, policies, and EHS practicesPromotes safe work habits of the team and compliance with safety rules in work areas. Maintains a clean and orderly work pliance with all Plant Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and Environmental and OSHA regulatory requirementsPrepare daily reports as directed by managementOther duties as assignedRequirements Minimum of three years experience in a supervisory roleHigh School Diploma or EquivalentPossess strong interpersonal and communication skills in order to supervise and work with a diverse team effectively.Must be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be detailed oriented and possess strong organizational skillsPossess basic math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividingMust be able to meet flexible work schedule demandsWear specified personal protective equipment as needed, which may include steel/composite toe work boots, safety glasses, aprons, protective gloves or respirators, hoods, masks, face shields etc. as requiredPhysical Demands:Ability to lift heavy packages up to 100 poundsPush or pull up to 100 poundsWalk and/or stand for long periods regularly
