Stage Picture: brenntag_other_2.jpg JobTitle: QMS Associate Location: Lancaster/USA Employment Type: Arbeitnehmer QMS Associate Our team in Lancaster currently has an opening for a QMS Associate YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Job Summary: This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality for allquality activities and quality programs. It also ensures that we satisfy our customers, comply with regulatoryrequirements, and continually improve our processes. Job Description: Assist with company compliance and certification to: ISO 9001 Quality Management System ACD Responsible Distribution Program (RDP) British Retail Consortium Standard for Food Management Systems AIB GMP standards for Food Ingredient storage and distribution Assist the Director of Quality with Quality System Registrars and assist with all corrective actions issued by that organization. Assist the Director of Quality with annual Management Reviews Assist LMSOs with timely investigation of customer complaints. Assist with quality reviews at LMSOs as needed. Maintain KPIs to measure Quality performance. Use statistical tools and root cause analysis to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement. Interact with the commercial team and directly with customers as needed to ascertain customer requirements and resolve issues. Assist with supplier performance reviews for key raw material and packaging suppliers; and participate in supplier quality audits as needed. Ensure timely response to customer quality surveys and questionnaires. Manage supplier product documentation. Maintain quality files and records and update as necessary. Assist the Director of Quality with internal quality audits. Assist facilities with customer quality audits and customer site visits. Participate, as directed, on Brenntag committee's and projects. Assist with the maintaining of Quality Records (policies, procedures, work instructions, and specifications). Assist with the HACCP Program for the organization. Perform other dutiesas assigned or needed. YOUR PROFILE Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree with one year of experience in a chemical or related industry, experience with Quality Management Systems or Brenntag procedures and policies required or Five years' experience working with Quality Management Systems. Thorough understanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other LMSOs, departments, and personnel in meeting customer needs. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and problem solve. Must have strong analytical skills. Ability to work with minimal direction for the good of the department and the company. Ability to interface well with customers. Ability to interface and communicate well at the corporate level (oral and written). Must be able to lend technical support to customers and coworkers. Computer skills sufficient to efficiently perform the job requirements. Ability to understand and comply with all company policies and procedures. Knowledge of statistical techniques used for continual quality improvement. Involvement in environmental matters such as reporting. Desire to succeed and lead.
