Description JOB DESCRIPTION My Psychiatrist is a well-established multi-disciplinary outpatient mental health group practice. We are seeking Full-Time Licensed Counselors/Therapists with experience providing psychotherapy for our Falls Church location. Counseling residents/supervisees are welcomed to apply. RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct diagnostic assessments to diagnose psychological disorders using evidence-based practices and consultations Formulating and creating personalized interventions, treatments, and management plans for patients Develop treatment plans and set therapeutic goals with patients Provides psychotherapy by utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, both in-person and telehealth Foster a supportive and non-judgmental counseling environment to promote a positive therapeutic relationship with clients Provide crisis intervention as needed Maintain complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentation Maintain confidentiality for all patient records Provide individuals with resources needed to achieve personal goals Measuring the effectiveness of interventions and implementing changes where required Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of mental health and continue professional development QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or similar disciplines Licensed as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in the state of Virginia Resident or supervisee candidates near completion of being fully licensed are welcomed to apply Experienced with online consultation, psychotherapy and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems Experience working with common mental health disorders and diagnosis such as MDD, ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, etc. Proficient with planning and performing psychological therapies & risk assessment BENEFITS Full-time salaried position with highly competitive pay Quarterly performance based bonuses Paid time off, paid holidays, paid bereavement leave Health, Dental and Vision insurance Employer paid Long Term, Short Term Disability and Life Insurance 401k with 100% employer matching up to 4% of salaries Employer paid malpractice insurance No administrative work, full support from our highly competent admin & billing staff Large amount of patients with full schedules consistently In house Psychologist, Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners to help with professional development Continuing education allowance Professional development assistance Position Requirements About the Organization
