We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Administrator to join our firm, working directly with the Director of Investment Management. Client portfolio management: Activity includes reviewing daily cash positions, out-of-tolerance client accounts, and new cash flow activity (inbound or outbound). Trading will be a requirement to learn under the direction of other investment management staff. Administers client information related to investment trading and reporting software. Identify and monitor tax-loss harvesting opportunities. Create block allocation files for structured note purchases. Research portfolios for unassigned holdings and work with lnvestments + Advisory to determine what to do with the positions (set as equivalent/exclude/sell}. Monitor margin accounts Set up new accounts and assets in portfolio software. Reviewing Daily Cash Positions: Reconciliation of money movements, asset transfers, and private investment transactions Cash Deployment Trade excess cash in client accounts into higher-yielding securities Create trade upload files for semi-liquid securities (interval funds} Research portfolios for unassigned holdings and work with lnvestments/FA/SFA to determine what to do with the positions (set as equivalent/exclude/sell). Data Auditing & Automation: Monitor the Investment Team inbox and audit manual data inputs into Orion. Develop relationships with and communicate with partners outside of Parcion to automate data retrieval. Audit & confirm measurement in Orion to what is disclosed in private investment documents. Research: Attend and support private investment due diligence meetings. Complete research documentation to support and communicate private investments. Fulfill the requirement of ad hoc client research service requests Reporting Work to learn and understand Orion data management. Learn and develop new reporting tools for investment management and advisory team needs. Automate report generation. Other Admin: Organizing Investment folder Writing SOPs Manage admin for private investment portals Entering cap calls into the reporting software and platforms Generating batch reports Distributing reports to clients via eMoney portal and Secure email/Citrix Communications & support: Advisory Department - support the creation of client/prospect presentations, deliver performance insights for client meetings, and support management of capital market slides. Client Service Department - communicating and executing client cash needs for personal distributions or investment reasons, such as capital calls. Identifying processes to streamline. Operations Department - coordinate and communicate regarding billing, systems, and compliance. Requirements Bachelor's degree is required; preference is given to degrees concentrating in business, economics, and finance. Minimum 2-3 years' experience in investment management/financial services, Strong interest in investment management, securities operations, and portfolio management, accounting Must have proven attention to detail and strong, highly developed analytical skills. Viable candidates will exhibit comfort and user ability with multiple industry software packages - Bloomberg, Orion, FactSet, Morningstar, Tamarac, etc. Intermediate level user of MS Office suite (solid proficiency in Excel), required, with preference given to advanced level understanding. Ideal candidates can make sound decisions, communicate, collaborate, prioritize, self-manage, proactively solve problems, and be highly organized. Excellent soft skills and work within team structure - ability to work in a team environment and acknowledge and respect others. High degree of attention to detail. Base salary typically is within the range posted, plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package, but it can be higher for candidates with additional experience and/or designations.
