Slack is looking for a strategic, results oriented Sr. Analyst with strong analytical and program management experience to join the Sales Strategy and Programs team. This is a unique opportunity to join a team focused on a blend of long-term strategic thinking and operational execution. The role combines the creative process of designing prescriptive programs and strategies, with the business end of operationalizing these programs with sales teams to ensure they are executed and produce results. The team works closely with executives and cross-functional partners as trusted advisors to drive large-scale impact and transformation across the GTM engine of Slack. In this role, the candidate will help define, shape, and deliver on GTM initiatives and programs, providing analytical insights required for successful execution. This is a high impact role, with quickly changing priorities and demands, in which the candidate will think strategically, arrive at a focused execution plan, and manage the plan to fruition. What You Will Be Doing Help to define, drive, and deliver strategic programs in partnership with sales leadership team and functional teams Assist in reporting and operationalizing key performance metrics, developing reporting tools and dashboards to help drive insights and actions Frame and break down complex problems into key components, derive insights, and provide actionable recommendations to drive tangible business outcomes Act as a strategic thought partner to various members of Sales Leadership team, helping define and deliver on the sales strategy and program across the business Identify inefficiencies, implement change management solutions, and track progress through planning, process, and tool improvements Assist as a hub for cross-functional teams (including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, and other internal groups), and facilitate collaboration towards achieving common goals and outcomes Define key performance metrics and targets, create reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership Create executive-level presentations for both local and global leadership reviews; organize monthly pipeline reviews Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes What You Will Bring We are looking for highly passionate candidates who have relentless curiosity, a startup mindset, attention to detail, willingness to manage multiple priorities, and ability to deal with ambiguity effectively. You are comfortable analyzing data and speaking with salespeople to identify hot spots and needs, and then are adept at working cross-functionally with teams such sales operations, data science, corporate marketing, product marketing, and the broader enablement team, to deliver programs that meet your sales teams needs. These skills and competencies will help ensure your success in the role: Leverage reports and data to gain qualitative insights into a business challenge Understand a salespersons mentality and what they need in a program to be an effective seller Structured project manager Able to manage multiple, competing stakeholders Understand all aspects of a sales play / program (from ideation to design to execution to tracking) Creative approach to creating compelling and engaging sales programs Effective networker that builds relationships across an organization Strong communicator, able to quickly think on your feet, and deal directly with senior sales leaders Able to look at your previous work, objectively evaluate it, learn from it, and adapt and improve Dependable and supportive team player Believe in open forthright conversations, and are willing to share your opinions in a considered manner, even when the content is challenging What We Are Looking For 3+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles Experience with quantitative analysis Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand Excellent communications and presentation skills Experience with R, Python, SQL, Tableau (or similar analytical packages), Salesforce reporting a plus Bachelors degree preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
