Job Details Job Location Pampa Engineering - Pampa, TX Education Level High School Travel Percentage Negligible Description This role supports Design Engineering by managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on equipment design. The BOM Tech creates and maintains BOMs within NetSuite to accurately reflect the parts requirements for all designs and revisions of designs. The BOM Tech also manages creation of part numbers and upkeep of the NetSuite Item Master, including updates to lead times, warehouse use points, etc. Bill of Materials (BOMs) Under the direction and supervision of the Engineering Manager, use Autodesk Inventor 3D modeling software to extract Bills of Materials for equipment designed by the Engineering Team. New designs and revisions to existing designs must have matching BOMs. Additionally, during the design phase, continuous updates to the Planning Bill of Materials (PBOM) are to be maintained with daily design changes until the model is completed and a formal and finalized BOM is published. Part number / Item Master maintenance Use Fast Fields software to collaborate with Procurement and Production Planning for creation of new part numbers in NetSuite. Design Software Oracle NetSuite - Gain familiarity with our online software, NetSuite, to input BOMs and part numbers for production use. CADLink - Gain familiarity with Bill of Material software that links up between Autodesk Inventor and Oracle NetSuite. Autodesk Inventor - Gain familiarity with 3D modelling software for exporting Bill of Materials. BOM Auditing Support the Design Engineering team with regular audits of Bills of Materials to ensure BOMs match completed units and units have been assembled with correct components. Work to keep BOMs updated through revisions and parts substitutions. Qualifications Experience using 3D CAD modeling software is preferred Experience with and understanding of Flogistix equipment and parts as well as the part numbering standard convention is preferred General computer competency including Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel High School graduate or GED equivalent, demonstrate proficiency in both oral and written communication Mathematical competency
