Incumbents may assist departmental Systems Analysts with the development and administration of business application requirements, security access authorizations, and other systems controls; gather and document application requirements and test data; and produce reports and queries. Minimum Requirements Candidates must qualify under ONE of the following options: OPTION 1: Two (2) years of experience supporting business applications (i.e., troubleshoot; assist and instruct end-users in effective use; resolve problems) and utilizing advanced features Microsoft Office Suite which includes: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience must include supporting Apple iOS and/or Windows 10. OPTION 2: Current PSE, WEX, or Intern for a San Bernardino County department, performing related duties AND a conferred Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, data processing, computer systems analysis or closely related field. Substitutions for Option 1: Candidates may substitute up to one year of experience with thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in computer science, information technology, data processing, computer systems analysis, or closely related field OR a completed Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Office Specialist credential or certificate, or Microsoft Solutions certificate.
