A Day in the Life of a Procurement Analyst : As Procurement Analyst for Liberty Military Housing, you will hold a key role in Liberty Military Housing, tasked with the analysis, optimization, and management of procurement processes to align with organizational goals. Your responsibilities encompass evaluating supplier performance, assessing factors such as price, quality, availability, reliability, and vendor support. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for cost savings, conducting forecasting analysis, and generating comprehensive reports. Responsibilities Your Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Assess potential suppliers and analyze their capabilities through comprehensive supplier assessments. Monitor and analyze supplier performance, proactively identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Analyze costs associated with procurement activities, actively seeking, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions aligning with Liberty's objectives. Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and industry best practices to inform strategic procurement decisions. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and benchmark pricing for informed decision-making. Ensure strict adherence to Liberty's policies in all procurement activities. Leverage data analytics tools to extract meaningful insights from procurement data, enhancing decision-making processes. Prepare regular, comprehensive reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other relevant metrics. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvement within the procurement cycle. Implement industry best practices to streamline procurement processes, fostering efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications What You Need For Success : Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst, Supply Chain Management or in a similar role Knowledge of procurement software and tools. Understanding of relevant laws and regulations, best practices, and market trends. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential. The candidate should thrive in a dynamic work environment and demonstrate a capacity for regular collaboration with various departments, including finance and operations.
