Participating with the sourcing and procuring of new capital equipment, and will install and qualify new equipment for our backend semiconductor production lines. Will also support sustaining activities for our backend equipment Job description: In your new role you will: Participate in sourcing, and procuring new capital equipment Will perform installation qualification and operational qualification of new capital equipment for the backend semiconductor production lines Manage multiple projects ensuring that they stay on time and within budget Work with Process Engineers and the Maintenance team to create or optimize PM programs for new equipment and existing equipment Work closely with key stakeholders including Facilities , EHS, Industrial Engineering , and Operations to ensure new equipment meets all facility requirements Provide updates to key management Design tools and develop procedures to reduce manufacturing variability and ease operator processes and training Drive improvements to the capital equipment purchasing and qualification processes Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with complicated equipment down issues Support other responsibilities that may be assigned depending on business need This position requires access to documentation that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8USC 1324b(a)(3) #LI-CW1 Your Profile: You are best equipped for this task if you have: Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree in engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering. Project Management Certification Minimum of 3+ years' experience in installing and qualifying capital equipment. Ideally have knowledge of IQ OQ PQ protocols. Ideally have knowledge of semiconductor backend processes, such as die attach, Test Equipment, Burn in Ovens, Test Handlers , wire bond, package sealing, lead , finish , trim and form , and mechanical assemblies Statistical tools, ideally using Minitab, to ensure process equivalence of new equipment.
