This person will provide administrative technical support at our Wisconsin campuses in Wauwatosa, WI and Mt. Pleasant, WI. The candidate is responsible for providing customer service to students, faculty, staff, and any college vendors. Qualified candidates must provide customer service to a diverse group of people with varying skillsets, possess the ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral. This person must have the ability to think creatively, ask probing questions, formulate solutions, and prompt follow-up. This person must have a positive attitude and conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES: Monitor Helpdesk portal and complete support requests in a timely fashion Provide technical support regarding usage or functionality of IT products and services Image, configure, install and support all campus computers and peripherals Maintain and support campus printers and copiers Provide support for audio/video equipment in classrooms and conference rooms Support critical infrastructure for campus servers and network Monitor inventory levels including toner and other supplies Maintain and update door access and camera systems Prepare and document equipment slated for disposal Occasional use of ladder, lifting, and crawling may be required Occasional assistance with building maintenance and/or projects as needed Occasional assistance with Print Center operations as needed Must have reliable transportation; work at multiple locations required Other duties as assigned EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES: An associate's degree in information technology is required, bachelor's degree preferred. If the degree is in a discipline other than Information Technology, the candidate must possess at least two years of related work experience or evidence of specialized training or competency in the Information Technology field. Strong experience with Microsoft Windows platforms (Windows 10/11, Server) Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and services Active Directory and group policy experience helpful Microsoft Admin Center, AzureAD, Exchange Admin Center experience helpful Experience with VMware or HyperV helpful Network administration experience helpful APPLICATION PROCESS : Please complete electronic application and upload your resume and cover letter for review.
