Know Your Rights: Responsibilities The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Peer Recovery Specialist will participate as a member of the Early Intervention and Support Services team. Specifically, the SUD Peer Recovery Specialist will focus on the co-occurring population, providing education and support to assist individuals towards their recovery. LOCATED: 140 Boulevard Blvd, Washington, NJ 07882 Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Person must have lived experience related to a mental health or substance use concern as well as be able to identify steps that have advanced his/her own successful recovery. 2. Person must have one of the following: a. Paid work experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting; b. Volunteer experience in a mental health or substance use disorder setting; c. A completed or in process of completion "Peer Recovery Specialist Certification". 3. A NJ Driver's License with capacity to drive a hospital vehicle is preferred for this position, but it is not a requirement #LI-MA2
