Torrence Ave.,CHICAGO,IL,60633Job Description:Position Description:Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements • Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts • Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teamsSkills Required:• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in difficult and stressful situations • Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers • Highly committed to continuous improvement, while applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset • Create a culture of safety and apply and implement workplace policies • Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively • Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from othersSkills Preferred:NAExperience Required:• 1+ years of supervisory and or manufacturing experience • Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekendsExperience Preferred:• Safety and quality experience • Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified • Knowledge of constraint management principles • Prior experience managing a unionized workforceEducation Required:High School DiplomaEducation Preferred:Bachelor's DegreeAdditional Safety TrainingLicensingPersonal Protection Requirements:Additional Information :o Process Coaches must be able to work all 3 crew patterns in the plant, which rotate every 3 months, as well as overtime as required. o There are occasional extra production shifts on the weekend and Process Coaches are assigned to support those, as needed. • The 3-crew patterns are as follows which account for arriving ½ hour prior to the shift starting o A-Crew: Monday-Thursday 55:30am-4:30pm o B-Crew: Tuesday-Friday 55:30pm-4:30am o C-Crew: FridaySaturday 55:30am-4:30pm AND SundayMonday 55:30pm-4:30am • It is important Process Coaches arrive before the production shifts begin on the crew assigned and remain afterwards to ensure employees are paid properly. • There are times when the lines will run beyond the end of the shift.o Process Coaches must be able to work all 3 crew patterns in the plant, which rotate every 3 months, as well as overtime as required. o There are occasional extra production shifts on the weekend and Process Coaches are assigned to support those, as needed. • The 3-crew patterns are as follows which account for arriving ½ hour prior to the shift starting o A-Crew: Monday-Thursday 55:30am-4:30pm o B-Crew: Tuesday-Friday 55:30pm-4:30am o C-Crew: FridaySaturday 55:30am-4:30pm AND SundayMonday 55:30pm-4:30am • It is important Process Coaches arrive before the production shifts begin on the crew assigned and remain afterwards to ensure employees are paid properly. • There are times when the lines will run beyond the end of the shift.
