SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:As a Swiss Lathe CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Machining Equipment to manufacture both metallic and non-metallic components. If you thrive in a detail-oriented and challenging environment, this position may be the perfect fit for you.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Monitor machine operations to verify the accuracy of machine settings and detect any malfunctions or machining deviations using precision measurement instruments. Make adjustments to maintain part accuracy.Perform routine Quality Control inspections and document findings throughout the production process.Make necessary edits to CNC programs as spect cutting tools for sharpness and usability.De-burr and clean parts to meet cleanliness and optimal functioning of equipment, tooling, and parts to ensure efficient production.Adhere to safety regulations and work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries.EXPERIENCE/SKILL/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:Proficiency in G and M codes for programming (Espirit), editing, setting up, and operating Citizen or other CNC equipment.Familiarity with production CNC to interpret engineering prints and work instructions.Accurate measurement skills for Quality Control purposes.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with great attention to detail.Advanced Manufacturing/ Precision Machining degrees/certificates or equivalent experience.Working Conditions: This role is based at our facility located at 14062 Riverport Dr., where you will work in a climate-controlled, non-smoking environment.
