About the job Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) We are seeking a highly qualified Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Roxborough Memorial Hospital in Philly, PA. This is open to Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem.The role of the Nurse Anesthetist at our facility includes providing quality anesthesia services to patients before, during and after surgery. The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for evaluating the patient's medical history and providing pre-operative and post-operative care. In addition, the Nurse Anesthetist will provide anesthesia for a variety of surgeries, including orthopedic, and vascular surgeries.If interested, you may send me your CV thru this email: and let me know your availability for a quick phone call discussion.Job Description:Provide counseling and education to patients regarding surgical and anesthetic options.Perform thorough anesthetic focused assessment.Determine safest patient focused plan for anesthesia, analgesia, multi modal pain management, post operative recovery and discharge to home.Ensure patient understanding and obtain anesthetic specific informed consent.Order and administer preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative anesthetic medications, including appropriate antiemetics, hemodynamic agents and controlled itiate anesthesia by securing the airway (if appropriate), maintain appropriate anesthetic depth, and conduct a controlled emergence and extubation (if appropriate) for given plete post operative assessmentParticipate and conduct anesthesia related educational programs.Job Highlights:CRNAs will have a primary site and be expected to rotate to three local suburban anesthetics focusing on general surgical, plastic, urologic, and gynecologic casesNo neurosurgery, obstetrics, or pediatric surgeryCollegial environment with MDs and CRNAsAbility to work independently is requiredCRNAs take 2nd call with limited call backSign-On BonusCME AllowanceOpen to Full-Time, Part-Time or Per-Diem.About Prime HealthcareFounded in 2001, Prime Healthcare has emerged as one of the largest physician-led health systems in the United States.
