Responsibilities The PPS Coordinator is responsible for facilitating accurate assessment and documentation of Rehabilitation Inpatients' functional status, co-morbidities and case mix group. The scope of assessment includes, but is not limited to, monitoring of prescreening, medical, rehabilitation nursing and therapy documentation, rehabilitation impairment category (RIC) coding, and documentation of inpatient rehab medical necessity by the patient care team. The PPS Coordinator is also responsible for coordinating GG code scoring education to necessary staff and adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance. QualificationsJob Requirements: Minimum: Licensure in the State of New Mexico as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist, or Registered Nurse Must have a working knowledge of IRF PAI (Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument) and/or GG Code Scoring. A minimum of two years' experience as a licensed RN, OT, PT, or SLP. Current licensure in the State of New Mexico as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist, or Registered Nurse.
