Health insurance (medical, dental and vision benefits, company paid life insurance)Position HighlightsOn-Site Practice Manager: Ensures smooth operations and support.Dedicated Support: Focus on practicing at the "Peak of License" with a dedicated MA.Flexible Schedule: 32 patient contact hours and 4 admin hours per week.Manageable Patient Panel: Average of 2000 patients per prehensive Care: Provide a full spectrum of primary care procedures.Minimal Call Duty: Weekday call averages once a month starting at 5 pm, and weekend call averages 1-2 times per year.Patient Volume: Aim to see 18-20 patients per day.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive primary care services.Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, injuries, infections, and illnesses.Educate patients and families about health plete thorough documentation using our EMR system.Formulate and implement diagnostic and treatment plans.Prescribe medications, therapies, and procedures.Order and interpret lab and imaging tests.Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary services.Supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as needed.Maintain high-quality care standards.Required QualificationsM.D. or D.O. pleted accredited residency in Internal Medicine.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.Active California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to employment.Active DEA or ability to obtain prior to employment.About OptumCareOptumCare provides administrative and business support services to both owned and affiliated medical practices. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
