Key Responsibilities The Purchaser is responsible for the replenishment of a portfolio of products from a specific grouping of suppliers. He/she will hold responsibility for the timely execution of purchase orders, therefore ensuring the maintenance of optimum inventory levels. Maintain an optimum level of inventory for a portfolio of suppliers Analyze and take action on the recommendations of company Supply Reports Be responsible for tracking orders with suppliers Understand supplier service variables and provide effective solutions in order to maintain at satisfactory levels Address potential service issues with supplier base portfolio Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and product management teams in order to produce/maintain a state-of-the-art experience for our customers Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel. What We Are Looking For Relevant purchasing experience, with an added bonus if within the furniture manufacturing industry Developed analytical, planning, and organizing skills Coachable, proactive, strong work ethic Experience with an ERP system University degree in Logistics & Supply Chain, Procurement, Business or similar a plus.
