The Regional Vice President of Operations sets and executes the overall operations business strategy across business, products, and infrastructure areas within the Dallas Market. Essential Functions: Recruit, manage, and lead management teams with focus on continuous improvement and growth. Provide constructive and timely evaluations and oversee disciplinary procedures. Support, motivate, and promote the team by building a positive and thriving team environment. Oversee day-to-day administrative, financial, and personnel operations for assigned area (Dallas). Collaborate with Sales Leadership on a market sales plan with emphasis on service diversification and value propositions. Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the Dallas Market; establish and implement policies, practices, and standards to ensure operational success and execution of Industry Group strategies. Review and approve cost-control reports, cost estimates, and staffing requirements. Active participation in sales presentations, networking events and other avenues to improve positive brand awareness within market. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and achieve goals. Collaborate with other executives to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Identify, recommend, and implement processes, technologies, and systems to improve and streamline use of resources and materials. Implement and integrate productivity measures and delivery methods to achieve planned ROI. Work with key external and internal customers to establish relationships that result in better business outcomes, improved client retention, and organic growth. Ensure that quality standards are assigned, measured, and met. Drive a culture of safety following required safety activities, inspections, and KPI's. Oversee several workflows simultaneously. Drive decisions across multiple groups across the entire team. Special projects and other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering curriculum, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred. Experience: 12+ years of industry-related experience, with a minimum of 5 years in management. Other: Ability to effectively lead a team of leaders. Proven track record as an effective manager in a high-performance organization, success as a builder of collaborative, high-performance teams whose management style is characterized as results orientation. Self-starter and works well independently and as part of an executive team. Skilled in project management, problem-solving techniques and communicating ideas and instructions clearly. Skilled in directing activities and operations of others, including activities involving hazardous situations. Can quickly dive deep on business challenges and formulate then as data and analytics problems that can be solved by standard approaching using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Skills in relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration. Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and a continuous improvement mind-set. Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Comfortable with routinely shifting demands. Ability to prioritize projects and execute and deliver key objectives in a timely manner under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment. Meticulous attention to detail, self-motivated, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must know the city, state and federal laws and regulations that affect company business and know what licenses are required to operate the business. Travel requirements are minimal with potential to increase to 40% of time as responsibilities expand.
