Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.Position Summary: Respiratory Therapist Registered PT 24 Hour Evenings 2pm-1030pSummary:A Respiratory Therapist (RT) is a professional member of the healthcare team who provides skilled respiratory care to newborns through geriatrics under the direction/orders of a physician. The RT assists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary diseases and related disorders in a professional and competent manner. RT participates in providing patient and family education. The RT may assess a patient's respiratory status and recommend appropriate therapy.Responsibilities:Ability to perform the following:ABG machine,Ventilator management, EKGs & EEGs Chest PT,Arterial puncturesPulmonary FunctionsQualifications: Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a Certificate of Completion from an AMA accredited program in Respiratory care is required.Certification/Licensure:MA Respiratory Care licensure, including 261 CMR 5.00 Continuing Education Requirement. (Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or Licensed Respiratory Therapist (LRT))Current BLS, and ACLS preferred.Experience: 1 years of acute care experience care preferred.Software/Hardware: Experience with Meditech is preferred.Benefits:We have many plans with various deductibles, which can cover individuals or families, so you can customize a plan that will work for you Steward Health Care works with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts to provide affordable health insurance for our employees in benefit-eligible positions.
