We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Analytics Manager at UL Research Institutes, based in our Evanston, Illinois, office. The Marketing Analytics Manager will be a key member of the Marketing Operations Team and will be responsible for leading the marketing analytics function. This role will partner cross-functionally with communication and organization leaders, and other key collaborators within ULRI on data initiatives across the organization in support of marketing and communication initiatives. This role provides the candidate with the opportunity to influence the decision-making process and strategy development. In this role, you will perform exploratory analyses, design & implement experiments, and develop visualizations to deliver insights that will support ULRI's strategic initiatives. What you'll learn and achieve: As the Marketing Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you: Conduct in-depth analysis of marketing data from our warehouse using existing reports to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities. Lead the development of our marketing data and analytics roadmap, identifying crucial metrics, data sources, and prioritization for our leadership team. Partner with data engineering team to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytics processes. Become the go-to expert on ULRI communications & marketing KPIs, providing guidance and analysis to stakeholders at all levels. Extract, manipulate, and analyze data from multiple sources including marketing automation platforms, web analytics tools, and social media platforms. Craft comprehensive reporting dashboards and reports to visualize insights and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ULRI performance, operations, and marketing effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (communications, marketing, operations) to translate business needs into data-driven solutions that improve campaign performance and increase performance to goals. Conduct deep dive analysis to uncover trends and actionable insights that drive business growth. This includes analyzing marketing data sources like paid search, web analytics, social media, traditional marketing analytics, and market research. Focuses on strategic problem-solving and goes beyond simply reporting data to develop actionable recommendations and insights that drive business growth. Continuously improve existing analytics processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize data utilization. Stay up to date on the latest trends and best practices in data analytics. Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and compelling manner. Publish and present reports, timeline updates, or recommendations to senior leadership. Validate published reports to ensure accuracy and consistency. Professional education and experience requirements for the role include: Experience presenting and reporting analyses to appropriate stakeholders. Expertise in Tableau or Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation. Bachelor's degree in a technical/quantitative field (such as IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Economics, etc.) or in an analytical role and at least 5 years of experience in a technical/quantitative field (such as IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Science, Economics, etc.) or in an analytical role. 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and in digital marketing environments. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace. At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross functional team leadership.
