Job Description The Position This position will be a hybrid role typically operating 4 days per week remotely with an anchor day of Wednesday in-person at the Organon office located in Plymouth Meeting, PA. The applicant is responsible for transportation to and from their primary site as needed. This role will be approximately a 6-month assignment in the spring and summer of 2025, roughly from March through September 2025. Work Area The US Supply Chain Operations department consists of 2 branches: Demand Planning & Fulfillment and Distribution & Logistics Operations. This role supports the Demand Planning & Fulfillment branch which is responsible for reliable supply of Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Products to the US Market, where the collaboration with Marketing and Finance to review demand forecasts, historical sales trends and understand demand drivers is a key to deliver a consensus demand. We also monitor supply plans to exceed customer service levels while maintaining inventory targets and adhering to Planning parameters. The role will engage in continuous improvement mindset with peers and team leaders by identifying and supporting business process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities The position will primarily support US Supply Chain Operations in relevant activities: Maintain demand and supply planning systems with a focus on a healthy data accuracy and parameters control. Support the demand aspects for product launches, new product introduction/deletion, phase-in or phase-out due to supply source changes and other related initiatives. Monitor targets and identify drivers for Forecast Accuracy Metrics. Collaborate in Market/Brand IBP. Collect business intelligence from Market stakeholders in the 36-month timeframe. Participating in opportunities for social outreach. Required Education, Experience and Skills Current student pursuing a bachelor's degree in either of the following while having future interest or previous experience in the Supply Chain field: Supply Chain Management, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related Engineering field, General Business, Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Technology Innovation, or related Business field. Hard skills such as SAP 4HANA IBP, PowerBI and advanced Excel functionality. The ability to analyze and translate information and implement practical data-driven solutions. Acquire in practice the segmentation mentality at different business levels. Effectively collaborating with groups that may have competing interests. Gain insights into the distribution and logistics workings of a global healthcare organization. Mentorship and valuable soft skills in a corporate setting. Public speaking and presentations skills in a safe, low risk environment. Preferred Education, Experience and Skills A foundation of analytical skills with the ability to examine data to draw conclusions. Previous experience using Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables or SAP would be a bonus. Strong oral and written communication skills. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
