Description The Information Technology - Application Trainer is responsible for development of training materials and providing training sessions to support use of software applications and platforms by district end-users. In addition, this position assists other IT teams with end-user support and troubleshooting. Provide technical support through training for district end-users, including internal teams within the IT division. Prepare and maintain end user training materials (training modules and video tutorials) and documentation to provide continuous support for end users. Assist other IT teams with end user troubleshooting and resolutions of data and application integrity issues. Work closely with subject matter experts, product owners and developers to implement new features or applications into the organization. Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, and developers to facilitate user adoption to newly implemented applications or functions. Efficiently communicate technical problems with supervisor and/or internal personnel as needed. Possess working technical knowledge of current systems software, protocols and standards. Identify and assess the training needs to develop a training curriculum and/or conduct formal instructor-led and/or virtual training sessions. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned. Qualifications Accredited High School Diploma or equivalent (U.S.A. Equivalency); Bachelor's degree preferred. ITIL certification preferred. 2+ years' directly related experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously, assigning priority to high level projects. Ability to provide effective virtual and in-person training for adult learners. Experience with software applications implementation and training. Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
