Schedule: 2nd shift 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM (training would be on 1st shift for the first 90 days) Weekend, Holidays, and Overtime as needed. Summary: Crane or Lift Equipment Mechanics repair and maintain overhead cranes, side loaders and chassis stackers by performing preventative and emergency maintenance. Duties include identifying problems, performing inspections, doing maintenance work, ordering and replacing parts, running computerized tests, estimating repair costs, updating repair records, and writing technical reports. Qualifications: •Ability to lift in excess of 50lbs •Open availability (24/7/365) available to work nights, weekends, and holidays that fall on your rotation. •Posses personal tools to conduct all repairs (Wrenches, sockets, impact tools, electrical diagnostic) •Willingness to work in varying weather conditions •Valid Driver's License •Experience with maintaining heavy equipment in either the Construction, Transportation, or Intermodal Industry •Other duties as assign •Must be willing to complete a drug screen, physical and background check Physical Job Requirements: •Frequent standing, walking, balancing while walking on elevated catwalks, bending, and grasping. •Occasional sitting, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, lifting and the ability to lift more than 50lbs.
