SUMMARY: The Loan Officer Assistant's primary role is to act as a liaison between Loan Officer, borrowers, and operation departments. The Loan Officer Assistant Assistensures clear communication for a smooth closing transaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in the collection of missing documentation for completion of loan file from borrowers Work with the Processor and Loan Officer to collect documentation to clear conditions Update Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on borrower correspondence and requests for documentation Structurefile for processing in Encompass Perform basic office functions including, taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for the Loan Officer, faxing, making copies, data entry, etc. Run reports for the Loan Officer to monitor monthly productivity Disclaimer : The job description is not a complete list of duties. The Loan Officer Assistant must be self-sufficient and show the initiative to self-educate industry product and program guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS: Two (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines.
