Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand accounting and financial business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for financial services and integrations. Design, develop, test, administer, and implement Hyperion applications with a focus on financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Hyperion applications, troubleshooting accounting-related issues, and ensuring system stability. Deliver comprehensive support and administration for ERP systems and products that facilitate Create and update project charters to provide high-level direction for project sizing and steering. Following the Regal IT Solution Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) process for assigned projects; preparing SDLC documentation as required. Create and maintain application documentation including, but not limited to, technical (workflow chart and process diagrams), end-user, FAQ, change/configuration management, disaster recovery, functional requirements, and support. Coordinate with IT resources and/or outside vendors as assigned in support of the systems. Participates in industry and other professional networks to ensure awareness of industry standards, trends, and best practices to strengthen value to the organization. Assist in the implementation of system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with a keen eye on financial implications. Support Finance teams with routine and unscheduled uploading and reporting of financial data. Work independently to support users and under the direction of project/product managers. Comply with all legislative/statutory obligations and company policies (PCI, ADA, PII, and Sarbanes Oxley, etc.) Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field Required. Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Hyperion Software IT Analyst with a focus on accounting functions. Strong knowledge of Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, and related Oracle EPM technologies, particularly in the context of financial applications. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and integrations between Hyperion and Excel. Minimum of 2 years experience in designing, developing, and implementing Hyperion applications for accounting and financial processes. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements. Familiarity with database concepts and SQL in the context of accounting data. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on accounting challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially in working with accounting teams. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Oracle Hyperion Certification is a plus. Experience supporting financial systems. (i.e., ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, SAP, etc.) is a plus. Professional Skills: Desire to work in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field required. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Language Ability: Must have good reading, writing, and speaking skills to effectively communicate with studios, managers, and co-workers. Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to develop and interpret charts. Reasoning Ability: Perform under pressure and/or opposition at times relying on your own independent judgment and knowledge to decide the best directions and solutions. Computer Skills: Working knowledge of hardware/software technologies used within application area, including relational databases, object-oriented tools, and web technologies.
