Volt is immediately hiring for a Manufacturing Engineer in Berkeley, MO Position Type: Full Time(Contract) Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension Location: Berkeley, MO As an Manufacturing Engineer, you will: Position Responsibilities: Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build. Leads and implements manufacturing plans. Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices. Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions. Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule. Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts. Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies. Required Skills Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance after Start. Possess a proactive and engaged mindset using manufacturing customer feedback and data driven analytics to proactively problem solve. 7+ Years, experience working in Manufacturing environment as an manufacturing or process engineer supporting production of a manufacturing process. Experience creating work instructions (text based and graphic) to aid in the manufacture of a product. Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). STEM Bachelor's Degree required .
