Job Description Dewberry is currently seeking a Land Development Engineer in our Charlotte, NC office. As part of our site/civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve site/civil design for commercial and industrial site development, higher education, parks & recreation and capital improvement projects, water and wastewater, and roadways. Responsibilities Site/civil development including grading design, utility design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design. Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets. Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans. Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting. Required Skills & Required Experience BS degree in Civil Engineering. 2-4 years of experience directly related to design and construction of land development and capital improvement projects. EIT required. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Water CAD, Storm CAD as well as Microsoft Office programs. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
