The Wayfarer Restaurant is currently seeking a Restaurant Floor Supervisor to join our growing team! The Floor Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant, including the development and performance management of associates. The wage for this position is $26.00 per hour with the days and hours to be determined. Has working knowledge of kitchen operations such as food handling and preparation, sanitation, safety, maintenance of equipment etc. Monitors wait staff's selling efficiency. Coordinates with other departments on joint tasks such as banquets or posting restaurant charges. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances. Responsible for ensuring consistent high-quality of food preparation and service. Conducts department audits and ensures compliance. Ensure franchise inspection requirements are met. Monitors restaurant guest satisfaction by walking floor and guest interaction. Qualifica tions Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school, or equivalent hotel and management experience. Must be able to read, write and speak English Restaurant experience preferred Excellent communication, problem-solving and PC skills will be required. Food Handler Certification and OLCC.
