About our Lab: The Dai Lab is at the forefront of interdisciplinary research in lung and vascular biology, with a special focus on pulmonary hypertension. Our recent publications include influential articles in Circulation (2016), AJRCCM (2018;2018), ERJ (2022), ATVB (2022), and Hypertension (2023), Circulation (2024). We leverage cutting-edge technologies like genetic lineage tracing, CRISPR genomic editing, single-cell omics, and spatial transcriptomics to unravel complex cardiopulmonary vascular diseases. Candidate Profile: Educational Background: PhD or MD/PhD (expected or obtained) or equivalent. Research Experience: Strong foundation in molecular biology and an impressive publication record. Experience in metabolism, epigenetics, bioinformatics, or developmental biology is desirable. Self-motivated and Driven: Ability to conduct projects autonomously, with minimal supervision, including experiment design, idea generation, efficient execution, and professional data analysis. Versatile and Collaborative: Capacity to manage multiple projects, write scientific papers, and present at conferences. Expected to provide guidance to students and technicians.
