They extensively support unique & challenging architectural projects, providing for diverse project exposure. As a Plumbing/ Fire Protection Design Engineer you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative and dynamic environment. You can be based in either Norwalk CT or Boston MA for this opportunity. Your primary responsibilities will include: Assisting in the design and development of plumbing and fire protection systems for various building projects. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to understand project requirements and deliver comprehensive plumbing designs. Preparing drawings, specifications, and calculations for plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Conducting site visits and field investigations to gather data and assess existing plumbing systems. Assisting in the preparation of technical reports and documentation. Supporting senior engineers in project coordination and client communications. Ad-hoc Project Management responsibilities within Plumbing & Fire Protection centric projects Desired experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 5 plus years of relevant experience in plumbing design or related field. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and standards.
