We are looking for a Lead Building Engineer to assist the Chief Engineer in directing the mobile engineers with the operations and maintenance of all assigned buildings; provides direct support to field operations, performance metric tracking and reporting, and implements strategic material acquisition strategies. Responsibilities: Supports preparation of monthly/quarterly operations and mechanical reports, and prepares technical evaluations/deficiencies reports on existing mechanical systems and components Maintains staffing schedules and employment records for responsible areas in connection with planning, scheduling and execution of engineering/maintenance work Plans schedule of work in accordance with established priorities Furnishes the engineers with basic data required in effecting overall and long-range planning Responds effectively to all emergencies Maintains and operate HVAC equipment and all associated equipment Coordinates purchasing and inventory control procedures Attends periodic management/executive training seminars Assists in Preventive Maintenance Program and all HVAC Building Automation Systems Assists in the organization of the engineering department Maintains liaison with Engineering Manager regarding work orders, job completion dates and priorities and estimates Furnishes the Engineering Manager with information relative to criticality of buildings Makes recommendations for systems improvement through immediate supervisor or management Makes recommendations concerning Capital Projects Handles other duties as assigned Desired Competency, Experience and Skills: Valid Applicable State Drivers License High School diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of five (5) years training and experience in electrical, HVAC and refrigeration system operation, design application and maintenance Minimum of five (5) years experience in technical operations supervision Must possess an excellent working knowledge of computer based applications, to include Excel and Word This position is 100% in-office . The role requires working in office during standard business hours.
