Job Type Full-time Description Facilities Services/Building Engineer Job Purpose: Responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical, mechanical and plumbing aspects of all company facilities DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING : •Responsible for ensuring that the electrical and mechanical aspects of all facilities perform effectively and efficiently. This may include air conditioning, elevators and other mechanical systems, as well as ensuring the distribution of electricity, heating, lighting and water supplies •Perform maintenance and repairs to the mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems. Keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned/required •Carries out construction and maintenance duties in a cost-effective manner, Estimates cost of materials needed to accomplish tasks/projects •Develops plans and estimates for construction and maintenance projects, including determining time, equipment, and human resources needed to complete the work •Interprets blueprints and diagrams in order to plan material and labor needed to accomplish tasks •Create and maintains list of contacts, vendors and service agreements for each business location •Responsible for keys and access at each business location •Maintains accurate up to date logs •Maintains inventory of supplies, materials, and tools •Inspects construction projects and/or other work products for conformity to specifications or codes by visual observance or by using gauges, meters, etc •Performs journey-level tasks assigned to two or more skilled trades •Preforms tasks such as lock/hardware replacement, painting, drywall repair, mounting of various shelves and or framed items and other handyman related tasks as required •Complies with safety regulations, emergency procedures and security •Maintains clean and orderly work areas •Maintains regular and predictable attendance •Follows instructions and performs related work as assigned •Respond to urgent facility requests at time of request and notify the CPO of any safety or impact to business •Respond by email to facility requests within 24 hours and prioritize repairs •Perform other duties as assigned •Adheres to Advanced Pain Care's Policies and procedures Requirements SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC.: •Bachelor's Degree or trade school diploma preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Experience with healthcare facilities, accreditation and inspections is preferred •Experience in multiple crafts preferred (carpentry/electrical/plumbing/HVAC) •Universal 608 and LME license preferred •Must be highly motivated and able to work independently, able to provide regular status on ongoing projects •Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset •Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information WORKING CONDITIONS: Environmental Conditions : Varied Physical Conditions : •Must be able to work as scheduled - typically from 8:00 - 5:00 M-F, possible weekends or day changes or early and late hours for emergency response •Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time •Must be able to bend, stoop and stretch •Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times •Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment, etc. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products example: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. •Clear and precise communication, and excellent interpersonal skills •Effectively manages day by organizing and prioritizing •Good driving record and reliable transportation •Practices safety •Protects patient information and maintains confidentiality SUPERVISION: Reports to Chief Procurement Officer Salary Description $75,000-90,000 per year
