Date Posted: Position Role Type: Onsite Join our team at Raytheon and contribute to the development of radar systems that defend freedoms and deter aggression. We are seeking a Senior Radar Systems Engineer to support the execution of integration and analysis activities for the SPY-6 Family of Radars and the GhostEye family of radars. This role involves concept development, algorithm development, software requirements, radar performance analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The position requires strong communication skills, frequent on-site support, and occasional travel. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Concepts of operations development for radar systems Radar processing algorithm development Radar software requirements development Statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data Collaboration with Systems and Software Engineers Present findings and solutions to Leadership and/or Customers Additional focus areas for radar systems Qualifications You Must Have: Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required Qualifications We Value: Active and in-scope Secret US security clearance Experience with design, development, and analysis of radar system and software architectures Experience with signal processing techniques in complex propagation environments Excellent written and oral communication skills Requirements development experience, including use of DOORS Experience with MATLAB/Python/C++ Masters/PhD in a STEM field What We Offer: Total rewards package including compensation, healthcare, wellness, retirement benefits, career development, and recognition programs.
